Here's two dreams for you!! Apparently my brain decided since I was restarting a dream journal you guys deserved two for one. I did have another dream last night.. but I seem to be forgetting bits and pieces of it so in short it was me at work, looking after the shop while half the merchandise was stolen. I was trying to teach someone to do something but they were more interested in playing cards.
The other two I've named "The Game" and "Bugs" to deal with the content... I think the first one is a lot more.. nightmarish than the second one.. but here we go...
"The Game"
I was with a boy and we seemed to be in a game. We were wandering around this old suburb that seemed to be deserted. We walked into a house, which had been badly boarded up. The air felt damp and my skin was crawling in the darkness. I felt on edge the entire time in the house while we went room to room looking for some kind of weapon. There wasn't much to the house at all, some old furniture that had been turned over, empty photo frames and the smell of dust. We went up the old stair case and into the bedroom. Lying on the bed was what was once a woman. Her skin was decaying and she had a strange yellow goo coming from her wounds, feeling sick I stumbled out the door and back down the stairs into the "fresh air" only it didn't seem so fresh. The sky was getting darker and a strange fog was drifting in the air. The boy came down the stairs and to me with a machete in his hand. He handed something to me and said it was something I needed to have. Unsure of what it was, I stuffed it in my pocket as he continued down the road, I hurried to follow, not wanting to be left alone. He came to a door way and stopped for a second. He looked at me and asked me what I saw. I didn't understand, my pocket felt hot so I reached in and pulled out an old necklace. It was an old locket, simple and round. I was trying to open it but it wouldn't and then I looked at the door and it was as if I could see through it. There were a lot of creatures inside there. Almost like zombies but lean and tall. They had a strange grey colour to them and their eyes were completely black, from their mouths were bits of yellow goo. I told him he had to go in there because there was something there that would answer his question, but he had to save his strength, because they would all come for him at once. He handed me a small knife and took a deep breath. He opened the door and peered into darkness. He walked through the door and I followed. It was quiet in the house... too quiet. He turned a corridor and things came at him, only a few this time. He hit at them with his machete and they fell to the ground. He turned and continued, Wait I said, but he didn't listen, he walked through the door, and he was surrounded by the things. I hurried to the door, but for some reason, something wouldn't let me in. I banged at the invisible door that had somehow appeared there, and he turned to look at me as the creatures scrambled up behind him. He's eyes filled with panic for a second as they grabbed at him. He looked at me, or through me and then pointed behind me. I turned to look, but there was nothing there. I turned back, only to see him disappear into a see of grey. I turned to avoid the sight, only to see nothing. It was black. I turned around, nothing but black... I spun around and around, reaching out for something, but there was nothing... nothing but black. Then I woke up.
"Bugs"
I was lying in my bed, staring up at the roof debating actually getting out of bed considering the long list of things I had to get done. I was just thinking about the remnants of the dream I had just had when a bug fell from the ceiling onto my bed. I startled and flicked it off my bed, only to find two more had fallen onto my bed. Looking up my ceiling light was dark instead of it's usual white. More and more bugs began to fall from the ceiling onto my bed. I jumped up and grabbed the near can of bug spray, only to find it didn't work. A friend of mine appeared in the room with a can of deodorant and began spraying them. "what exactly is that going to do? I asked her, She grinned and said.. "we're going to set them on fire." I looked at her for a second, but it's my bed?? she didn't seem to care as I grabbed another can of bug spray. More and more bugs began to crawl across the ceiling and down the walls, Freaked out I grabbed her and turned for the door. Opening the door we quickly stumbled into the hall way only to hear screaming coming from my sister's room. Walking in there her room was also covered in bugs. She came screaming out and bumped into my dad, who's room was also filling up with bugs. My friend kept spraying the deodorant everywhere, while my dad picked up a container and started scooping bugs up and throwing them out the window, with little hope we stumbled out the front door. Behind our fence, two men were digging a huge square pit and were placing metal tubes inside. They were pumping something, and the more they pumped the more bugs that entered the house. The looked up, their faces blurry, their eyes dark as my friend lit a lighter and threw it into the house. The house burst into flames, the smell of dead bugs lingering in the air. Smoke poured out of my bedroom window, and then just like that it was gone. The house wasn't on fire, we walked inside, and all that remained were a few dead bugs. My friend looked at me and said "I told you it would work" and then I woke up.
