Zombies!!

This is the dream I had early this morning. I love when my dreams are random... not so much when they repeat themselves and slightly changes... it always throws me off guard!! Anyways, here we go, my brain's version of a Zombie Apocalypse, or as I've now dubbed it Zompocalypse!

The Zompocalypse

I was sitting on the desk, my legs swinging underneath as I spoke to the old cop. He was wearing a faded blue uniform, and cleaning a shot gun. He smiled at me and said, things were slow , especially out where we were, as he motioned to the window. I looked outside and saw a field and a tiny place in the distance. He looked at me and said, "they're leaving, so you should leave now if you hope to catch up". I looked outside and my parents were walking in the distance, so I smiled, hopped off the desk and walked for the door. "thanks" I said as I went through the door. I walked briskly to catch up, but it seemed I was always so far behind. Before i knew it, I was in a suburb, walking on a path up the hill. My parents were still in the distance, as I rushed to catch up. People attempted to stop me, asking me questions. I pushed them out of the way and continued upwards, feeling tired as I got closer and closer. I walked past a large tree and tripped over. A guy appeared and smiled, and said, look up. I looked upwards towards the sky and there were millions of crows, they were holding something that looked like a giant wooden cross which they dropped. It landed on my ankle as I rolled out of the way. I got up, as another one fell down and stumbled towards the road. My parents were on the other side, just standing there, but there were more and more cars. I yelled across at them, and after a while of attempting to cross the road, they understood and some how crossed the road. We walked down the road and ended up stopping for ice cream and hotdogs... For some reason, we had to walk back to the police station, which was just across the field. We walked, quickly into  the police station, as the old cop closed the door behind us, barricading it with a log. The door shook as someone smacked against it on the other side. Again and again it smacked it, as I creeped closer to look through the peep hole. Through the hole I saw a woman, her hair a complete mess. She kept slamming her arm against the door. I went to open the latch when a younger policeman appeared and yelled No. He slammed his body against the door to stop it from opening. The old man brought out a sickle and through the gap in the door swung downwards. He cut off the woman's arm and slammed the door shut. He looked at me acusingly as another person burst through the window.  More and more people piled into the room, biting and ripping into people, as I ran for the small room. The younger policeman and I hid in the small room. It had metal walls, and was dark. He squeezed my hands as the sound of the door got louder and louder before it burst open. I was thrown against the wall.

When I woke up, I was sitting back on the policeman's desk. He was telling me about zombies. He told me we had to get out before they came and not to get bitten, otherwise there would be no point. Grabbing some weapons, he threw me a long piece of wood to "beat them off" We walked through the front door, he had a shot gun in hand and was shooting people as they came past. It seemed like the more we shot, the more that appeared. More and more of them  streamed through the doors, some of them family, some of them friends, and some unrecogniseable. I smacked them with the stick, again and again, hitting them in the head, hoping to get them away from me long enough to reach the car. Unfortuantely, in the midst of this, my stick broke, and I was left defenseless. I saw the policeman run for the car, as more and more of them closed around me. He looked back.. mouthed sorry as he got into the car and began to drive off. I could feel my arms being bitten and I could see the blood coming down. Things started to get darker until I couldn't see anything.

When my vision became clear, I was sitting back on the desk at the police station. The old man looked at me and smiled. He said "feeling any deja vu yet?" And I looked at him, sighed and said. "Give me the damn guns this time." He stuffed a duffel bag full of shot guns, handed it too me and showed me how to load one. I'd just loaded my first gun when the door burst open and a man with half a face appeared. I sighed and said, here we go again. I was about to shoot him when I heard a phone ring. I turned to it, Picked it up.. and woke up to my house phone ringing.
